The feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel was celebrated at St. Mary's English Higher Primary school on Thursday, 18 July, in Mother Veronica hall at 10.30 am, with the utmost devotion and reverence.
To mark the occasion, a cultural programme was organised which began by seeking the blessings of Almighty through a prayer service. Students of class 3A and 5A performed spectacular dances and a short skit on Mother Mary having a message on, helps all those who are in need and those who plead for her grace. Mrs. Lydith Pinto, ex-parent of this institution as well as the ACA member was present as a chief guest.
The chief guest addressed the students and gave an inspiring and motivational message. The headmistress Sr. Maisie, appreciated the students for performing the wonderful programme on this auspicious day. The entire cultural programme was compared by Fizan Fakhruddin Ali and Afifa Mariyam. The programme ended with the words of gratitude.
