St. Mary’s English Higher Primary school held a vibrant annual day celebration of the year 2024-25 on 28 November 2024, for the students of classes 3 to 7 in the school ground from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
The event was graced by Mrs. Corrine Rasquinha, the founder and president of White Doves, as a chief guest. The chief guest was accompanied by the school band, Sr. Maisie, the headmistress, Sr. Maria Kripa, the Joint secretary, Mr. Maxim D’Souza, the PTA vice president and the executive committee members.

 The programme was started with a prayer song followed by welcome dance. 

Sr. Maisie A. C, the headmistress of St. Mary’s English Higher Primary school gave a warm welcome and introduced the chief guest to the audience. A floral welcome was given to Mrs. Corrine Rasquinha by Iqra. A floral welcome was given to Sr. Maria Kripa A. C, the Joint secretary and Mr. Maxim Dsouza, PTA vice president by Megana and Astern respectively.

 

The school report of the past Academic year was presented by the students Sarah Pinto, Umm Hani, Amrith Melroy Dsouza, Lashya, Rijwal Raj and Fiya.

Mrs. Corrine Rasquinha, the chief guest of the day honoured the victors in academics and sports for the year 2023-24 and also rewarded the meritorious students with a memento.
In particular Princita Vianny D’Souza of class 7B was honoured for Yoga Nidrasana pose for the longest duration and entering into the “India Book of Records”.

Sharavani of class 8 was also honoured for the success in Weight Lifting at State Level and entering to the Mini Olympics at the National Level.

Mrs. Corrine Rasquinha addressed the audience by delivering an eloquent speech which was really a source of encouragement, appreciation and inspiration for all of us.

Students showcased their extraordinary talents through their dance, drama and action. Each class reflected a meaningful theme through their act and delivered an incredible performance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 The programme was ended by singing a thanking song. Master of ceremonies for the day were Ayana Muskan of class 7A, Kashvi of class 7B, Saara Abdul Salam of class 6B and Aadhya LK of class 5A. The programme was ended with vote of thanks by Princita and Nissan of class 7B, Prarthan and Sheza Anjum of class 6A.

 

 

The annual day programme left the audience with cherished memories.
