Topic: Understanding Self-Love.
A session titled "Understanding Self-Love" was held for students of class 6 and 7 on 25 Oct at Mother Veronica Hall. The session led by Ms Nahada, a professional counsellor from Roshni Nilaya, aimed to help students develop a deeper understanding of self-love and ways to nurture a positive self-esteem.
The session was warmly welcomed by Neena, a student councillor from Roshni Nilaya.
Ms Nahada engaged the students with an interactive and insightful discussion on the importance of self-love, focusing on practical approaches and mindful practices for building self-esteem and resilience.
Key sub-topics included “Ways to build self-love, spending time around positive people, Noticing and Challenging negative thoughts and use of positive affirmations. Words of Gratitude in Vote of Thanks was proposed by Tanaz of class 7B.
The session on self-awareness and self-love left students feeling more empowered to approach life positively and with self-compassion.
The school looks forward to organizing such more sessions to support the emotional well-being of its students.
