The session led by Fr Anoop, a professional with a Master of Social Work from Roshni Nilaya, aimed to educate the students on the crucial aspects of Physical safety and self awareness.
The programme began with a warm welcome by Sarah Pinto of class 7, who set the tone for the important discussions that would follow. Fr Anoop spoke in detail about Puberty, giving relevant examples to help students understand the Physical and Emotional changes they undergo during this time. He then focused on good and bad touch, providing practical explanations that were easy for the students to grasp.
The session was interactive with Fr Anoop, answering students’ queries and addressing their concerns in a clear and sensitive manner. This open dialogue allowed students to feel comfortable, discussing personal topics that are often difficult to talk about.
A floral welcome was extended to the guest by Asst. Headmistress Sr Gracy, acknowledging the importance of the session and the valuable insights shared.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by class 7 student Princita, expressing gratitude for the enlightening session and the guidance provided by the resource person.
The session was highly appreciated for raising awareness on such a vital topic in a thoughtful and engaging manner.
