On Friday 5th July 2024 St Mary's English higher Primary school had organised a spiritual talk on ‘Eucharist’ and ‘Prayer’ which was conducted by Rev. Fr. Anil Kiran Fernandes, S.V.D, for the students of Camel Blossoms at 9:45 a.m. in Mother Veronica hall.
The speaker of the day was introduced and welcomed by Sr Nandika the Headmistress of St Mary's High School and Sr. Maisie the Headmistress of St Mary's English Primary School offered a floral welcome.
Fr. Anil Kiran Fernandes spoke about the importance and significance of the Eucharist to students. He also told about the sacredness of celebrating the Eucharist daily. It was an interactive session for the students. He quoted the Word of God on Eucharist.
The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr. Anil Kiran Fernandes on account of the feast of our Lady of Mount Carmel. 18 students were initiated as Camel Blossoms. Sr. Maria Kripa the Joint Secretary of St Mary's institution was also present. The scapulars were blessed during the mass and distributed to the students. The mass ended with final blessing at 12:30 pm.
