World Environment Day and Van Mahotsav celebration 2024, with the theme “Our Land Our Future” is held on 4 July in St. Mary’s English Higher Primary School, Falnir.
The students of Class IV A and III B conducted the programme by imploring God’s blessings with the prayer service. Haleema Munifa of class IV A welcomed the chief guest Mrs. Lynette Pinto and the gathering.
A sapling was planted by the Chief Guest, Headmistress, SPL and ASPL. Mrs. Lynette Pinto being the guest of the programme, delivered a speech about awareness of environment.
A significance of the day was given by Krithi R. K and Khatheeja Shazma of class IV A. The awareness of the protection of the environment was brought out through a beautiful cultural activities by the students of class IV A and III B. With the vote of thanks and by taking a pledge on protection of the environment the whole programme was compered by Basim and Izyan of class IV A.
