St. Mary's English Higher Primary School conducted an orientation programme for the the students of class 3rd to 7th in Mother Veronica Hall. The topic for the orientation programme was Cyber Crime - the most significant risk among young children.
The resource persons for the session were Ms. Athena, Ms. Beni and Ms. Seema from Inchara Foundation. The resource person explained, What is cyber crime?, How does it take place among young children?. Safe and unsafe use of mobile, tab, computer and network. Types of cyber crimes were explained with appropriate examples and mainly stressed on Cyber Bullying and Cyber Grooming. Safety tips were given to the students to keep themselves safe from cyber crime.
