"St. Mary's English Higher Primary School Guides Celebrated Thinking Day on 22nd February 2024, on account of World Guide Thinking Day.
The Guides gathered in Mother Veronica Hall along with the Bulbuls and conducted ‘Sarwa Dharma’ prayer service which included the Holy scripture readings from Bible, Bhagvatgita and Quran. They also prayed for all the guides’ sisters all over the world. The students highlighted the significance of the day by briefing shortly about the guide movement with the PPT presentation.
The Bulbuls enacted a value based moral skit to depict their activities in the Bulbul movement.
The next day the Guides were taken for a short outing with “Dairy Delights and Nature's Tranquility". Our day began with a visit to a local milk dairy, where students actively participated and gained knowledge about dairy farming processes.
From the dairy, our guides ventured to the scenic Kadri Park, immersing themselves in the lush greenery and serene surroundings. Through team-building activities, they embraced the spirit of unity and friendship, reflecting the core values of Thinking Day.
This outing was not just an educational experience but also a journey of connection and camaraderie. St. Mary's guides returned with memories of laughter, learning, and a strengthened bond, embodying the essence of global sisterhood celebrated on Thinking Day.
